Chris Andrews

Chris joined Namier in February 2020 as in-house legal advisor and works with the team on the full range of legal, documentation and regulatory matters. He also leads Namier’s litigation financing initiative, focusing on sourcing capital for funders from Namier’s network of HNWIs and family offices, as well as from funds and institutions.

• Qualified as a solicitor with Allen & Overy; he is also qualified in New South Wales, Australia
• He held the position of General Counsel for Credit Suisse’s investment banking activities in Australia
• 20+ year career in investment banking, working in Hong Kong, Sydney and London in a range of in-house legal and front office structuring roles
• His transactional experience covers debt capital markets, distressed debt, credit derivative structuring and interest rate derivative trading; he also managed the run-down of the distressed and defaulted derivative portfolio for RBS’s Capital Resolution division.
